BitGold ProPrivacy Policy
This policy explains how BitGold Pro handles information when you connect to your own media provider, browse its catalogue, and play content on your phone or TV.
1. Who we are
BitGold Pro is provided by BitGold Apps, through the BitGold Labs website at bitgold8k.com. For privacy questions, contact bitgold8k@gmail.com.
This policy applies to BitGold Pro for Android. It is separate from the BitGold MAC privacy policy. BitGold Pro is a media player for services configured by the user; it does not create a BitGold account, sell a media subscription, or supply a built-in media catalogue.
2. Information the app handles
Saved connections and authentication
For Xtream connections, the app handles the server address, username, password, playlist name, and playback format you supply. These details are saved locally so you can reconnect, and the necessary credentials are sent to the configured provider to authenticate and request media.
For Stalker / MAC portal connections, it handles the portal address, profile name, the MAC identifier you enter, and any configured serial number, device identifiers, signature, and user-agent information. Where needed, the app derives compatibility identifiers from the configured MAC identifier and sends them to the portal. These are portal-profile identifiers, not a claim that the app reads your device's physical network MAC address.
Catalogue, account, and playback information
The app processes provider responses such as channels, films, series, programme information, artwork, media links, authentication tokens, and account status or expiry information. It stores settings, saved connection information, the last-used connection, and local catalogue or image caches to support browsing and reconnection.
Your provider and its media servers receive the requests needed to browse and play content. Portal searches may send your search terms to the portal. Media and artwork requests can reveal the content requested. Remote services also receive your IP address and request headers, which may include player or device-compatibility information.
Information you send to support
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information and attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords, full provider credentials, or private viewing information in support messages or screenshots.
3. Where information goes
The app connects directly to your configured provider and the servers used to deliver its media, artwork, and related information. These services need the relevant connection and request information to authenticate your account and deliver the features you request.
BitGold Pro does not upload your saved provider credentials or viewing activity to a BitGold-operated activation, licensing, or analytics backend. The app has no built-in advertising or data-sale integration. This does not prevent your provider or its delivery services from recording requests under their own policies.
Your media provider, its delivery services, your email provider when you contact support, and platform services such as Google Play and Android operate under their own privacy terms. Their infrastructure may be located outside your country. Review your provider's privacy practices before entering credentials; BitGold does not control its retention or use of your information.
4. Storage and security
Saved connections are stored in Android app-private storage, normally isolated from other apps by Android. The current app does not add its own encryption layer to saved provider credentials or portal-profile fields. App-private storage should not be confused with a separately encrypted password vault.
Network encryption depends on the connection. BitGold Pro supports both HTTP and HTTPS provider addresses. HTTP connections are not encrypted in transit and can expose credentials and requests to parties able to observe the network. Use a trusted provider with HTTPS endpoints, including its media links, whenever available. We do not claim that all app traffic is encrypted.
Android backup and device transfer are enabled for the app. Depending on your device, Android version, and backup settings, eligible app data may be backed up or transferred by the operating system. Review your device's backup settings, especially on shared devices. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
5. Retention and deletion
- Saved connections: remove a saved playlist or portal profile using the app's connection-management screen to remove that saved entry. Removing it does not close your account with the external provider.
- Local data and caches: use Android Settings → Apps → BitGold Pro → Storage → Clear storage / Clear data to remove the app's local connections, settings, and stored data. Labels vary by device. Some cached images may remain after removing an individual connection; clearing app storage removes the app's local copies.
- Uninstallation and backups: uninstalling removes the installed app's local data, but operating-system backups may remain or restore eligible data later. Manage those separately through your Android or backup-provider settings.
- Provider records: contact your provider to delete its account, request logs, or other server-side records. BitGold cannot delete records held by an independent provider.
- Support correspondence: we retain correspondence only as needed to handle the request and any applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion by emailing bitgold8k@gmail.com; we will explain if information must be retained.
There is no separate BitGold Pro online account to delete. Removing a connection from the app does not cancel a subscription purchased from someone else.
6. Permissions and third-party services
BitGold Pro uses internet access to connect to providers, network-state access to respond to connectivity changes, and wake-lock functionality to support playback. It does not request access to your contacts, SMS, microphone, camera, or precise GPS location.
The current app does not embed advertising, behavioural analytics, or automatic crash-reporting SDKs. Google Play or Android may separately process installation, diagnostic, or backup information according to their settings and policies; this is distinct from an analytics SDK inside BitGold Pro.
This policy page contains no analytics script, advertising script, or sign-in form. Visiting it still sends ordinary web requests, including your IP address, to the website's hosting infrastructure. Other pages of the BitGold website use Vercel Analytics; those website services are not embedded in the Android app.
7. Intended audience
BitGold Pro is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. Content availability depends on the provider you configure. If you believe a child has sent personal information to our support address, contact us so we can address the request and remove information where appropriate.
8. Privacy requests and updates
For questions or requests concerning information held by BitGold, email bitgold8k@gmail.com with the subject BitGold Pro — Privacy request. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or otherwise control your personal information. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify a request, but not your media-provider password.
For information held by your media provider or platform provider, contact that organisation directly. We cannot access your local app storage remotely through a support email.
We may update this policy when the app or our data practices change. The latest version will be available on this page, with the updated date shown above.
